IT Project Specialist

About the role

The IT Project Specialist manages and delivers IT projects end-to-end, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring and control to closing. The role works closely with business units, technical teams and external stakeholders and reports progress to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and complete IT projects end-to-end, following the Waterfall methodology
• Prepare and maintain scope, timeline, budget and resource allocations
• Proactively manage project risks, dependencies and critical paths
• Coordinate business units, technical teams and external stakeholders
• Report project progress regularly and present key metrics to senior management
• Evaluate and control change requests in line with project governance and PMO standards
• Deliver final outputs on time, within scope and to quality standards, including structured closure activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MIS or a related field
• At least 5 years of IT project management experience with a proven track record of completed projects
• PMP certification required
• Strong technical English (reading documentation and taking part in meetings)

• Strong expertise in Waterfall methodology
• Experience in software development, infrastructure, system integration or digital transformation projects
• Project planning, milestone tracking and progress reporting
• Jira, Confluence or similar project management tools
