MV Pre-order Quotation Leader

About the role

The MV Pre-order Quotation Leader will head the Medium Voltage pre‑order team, creating competitive, technically compliant and profitable offers for customers across the EMEA region. This role blends technical expertise, commercial acumen and leadership to drive high‑quality quotations, manage risk and support profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the MV Pre‑order team to deliver accurate, competitive and timely quotations across the EMEA region.
• Drive opportunity qualification, bid/no‑bid decisions, pricing strategy and deal approvals.
• Ensure quotations are technically compliant, commercially sound and aligned with profitability and customer‑satisfaction goals.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, contractual and execution risks throughout the quotation process.
• Monitor quotation performance, margins, win rates and delivery timelines.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop customer‑focused solutions and support project handover.
• Coach and develop team members, building technical, commercial and leadership capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in quotation, tendering, bid management or commercial roles within the electrical power distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of medium‑voltage switchgear, applications and power distribution systems.
• Expertise in bid strategy, pricing, risk assessment and commercial decision‑making.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
