Business Development Representative – Istanbul

About the role

The Business Development Representative will meet face‑to‑face with founders, owners and senior executives of private education institutions across Istanbul. The role focuses on acquiring new customers for Okul.com.tr, understanding their needs and communicating the value of the platform’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Run face‑to‑face sales meetings with key decision makers at private education institutions.
• Identify client needs and position the most relevant Okul.com.tr products and services.
• Manage proposals, negotiations and closing, including a 15‑day follow‑up period for open opportunities.
• Achieve individual new‑business revenue targets and keep complete CRM records of meetings, opportunities and outcomes.
• Monitor the local education ecosystem for new investments and opportunities.
• Plan and manage upcoming renewals within the assigned portfolio, presenting renewal proposals and negotiating to achieve renewal revenue targets.

Required profile

• Genuine B2B field sales experience with a track record in new customer acquisition.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Direct responsibility for face‑to‑face meetings, needs analysis, proposals, negotiation, closing and follow‑up.
• History of working against individual sales or revenue targets.
• Ability to manage renewals and customer retention alongside new acquisition.
• Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Disciplined CRM usage and motivation for high field activity.
