Senior Business Analyst - Banking

About the role

Mobven, a technology company founded in 2012 and recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing tech firms in the EMEA region, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst in banking. The role drives cross-functional execution of several projects, working with designers, developers and test engineers to conceive, build, test and deliver products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional execution of multiple projects, working with designers, developers and test engineers to conceptualize, build, test and deliver products.
• Manage the execution of project plans and scope.
• Coordinate the activities of functional groups in line with company goals.
• Contribute to project management, including scope management, organization, resourcing, planning and risk management.
• Track and communicate schedule and scope changes and escalate project issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with leading corporate clients across industries and start-ups.
• Craft business plans, strategic analyses, benchmarking and presentations on prospective projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software product roles, preferably in banking or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of loan disbursement processes, collateral/guarantee management, restructuring and tawarruq structures, with a good grasp of loan accounting principles.
• BS or MS degree in engineering or a relevant field.
• Effective presenter, negotiator and collaborator; strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and social communication skills; able to coordinate multiple initiatives at once.
