Tech Recruiter and HR Lead

About the role

Zad is a fast‑growing fintech startup looking for a Tech Recruiter and HR Lead to own the full employment cycle for its Turkey and Europe teams. This remote position will be the single HR point of contact, ensuring a compliant, well‑documented remote workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Source technical candidates through LinkedIn, specialist platforms and talent pools.
• Screen applications, conduct first‑stage interviews and coordinate technical assessments with Product and Engineering leads.
• Manage end‑to‑end candidate communication, including feedback, offer negotiation and contract signing.
• Run onboarding for Turkey and Europe hires: equipment, email, tool access, NDA, IP and policy acknowledgments, welcome kit and first‑week introductions.
• Act as first point of contact for remote employee‑relations matters and escalate issues to the HR Director.
• Handle off‑boarding: exit checklist, device return, access revocation, final settlement coordination, exit interview and knowledge handover.
• Maintain remote employee records, directories, tool licences and pipeline metrics; report hiring, onboarding and attrition data to the HR Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Four or more years of recruitment or HR operations experience, including hiring technical or engineering roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting employees in a remote or multi‑location setup.
• Working knowledge of employment practice in Turkey or wider Europe.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Turkish or Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work across Kuwait (Sun‑Thu) and Turkey (Mon‑Fri) calendars.

• Practical use of ATS, HRIS and collaboration tools such as Notion.
• Written clarity in English and confidentiality discretion.
• Process documentation and automation capabilities.
