Java Software Developer – Microservices

About the role

We are seeking a Java Software Developer to join Ericsson’s software development team in Istanbul. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to build scalable, high‑quality applications and microservice‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based applications and services using Spring Boot.
• Design, build, and optimise scalable microservice architectures.
• Collaborate with back‑end, service‑layer and business teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement of development practices.
• Support the creation and maintenance of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and software quality initiatives using tools such as Jenkins, Nexus and SonarQube.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable and production‑ready.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–4 years of hands‑on Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns and agile delivery.
