Senior Java Developer – SAP BTP Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our product team building a cutting‑edge rental solution on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud. The role involves designing and developing scalable cloud services that integrate with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud‑native backend services using Java on the SAP BTP platform.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of a multi‑tenant rental solution running on SAP BTP.
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices for integration with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other SAP services.
• Collaborate with Functional Analysts, Product Owners, and Frontend Developers to implement product features.
• Ensure high‑quality code through code reviews, testing, and best development practices.
• Support integration scenarios using REST APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and event‑driven architectures.
• Contribute to performance optimisation, security, and scalability of cloud services.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native application development concepts.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL / NoSQL).
• Experience with Git‑based development workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English.
