2D Game Artist

About the role

Panteon is looking for 2D Game Artists to join its team in Ankara. The artist works with the Developer and Game Design teams on new games that reach millions of users, taking part in all visual design stages from concept to the final product.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Developer and Game Design teams on new games.
• Produce UI and user experience designs, as well as 2D drawings (characters, environments, textures, paintings, concepts).
• Create original, clear 2D artworks, concept visuals and supporting UI elements in line with the in-game visual language.
• Contribute to 2D visual production that supports UI designs and the aesthetic quality of the interface.
• Take part in the creation and development of new games.

Required profile

• Willingness to work on casual game development.
• Experience mainly in texture and painting-focused 2D production, with basic knowledge of UI and UX principles.
• Knowledge of lighting, shadow, form, composition and colour; ability to work with existing visual assets.
• Experience in interaction design and providing user-friendly solutions for complex concept designs.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design tools.
• Ability to work fast and efficiently, with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
• Keeping up with current AI tools, trends and production techniques.
