Accounting Manager

About the role

Pierre Fabre Laboratories is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its accounting operations in Turkey. The role ensures compliance with Turkish GAAP and group policies while supporting the finance team in delivering accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in line with Turkish GAAP, group policies, and quarterly, monthly, and annual closing schedules.
• Handle e‑invoice and e‑ledger obligations, compile month‑end trial balances, perform sub‑ledger reconciliations, and prepare financial statements.
• Conduct monthly account and tax analyses, including preparation and filing.
• Monitor daily accounting and pre‑accounting transactions performed by the accounting team.
• Coach and develop the accounting team’s professional skills.
• Track all financial obligations and take an active role in audit processes.
• Control and audit periodic reconciliations and support annual budget preparation.
• Prepare and deliver information required for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• 5‑7 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP, IFRS, tax legislation, and e‑invoice/e‑ledger systems.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Team‑management and coaching experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills.
