Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

The Internal Audit Specialist will lead end‑to‑end audit activities in line with the approved audit plan and specific assignments, reporting directly to the Internal Audit Manager. The role involves investigating fraud, evaluating risks, and delivering improvement recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end audit activities in line with the approved audit plan and specific assignments.
• Carry out fraud and irregularity investigations and report findings to top management.
• Prepare audit results, improvement suggestions and risk‑mitigation actions in collaboration with process owners.
• Follow up on action plans to ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
• Identify and evaluate enterprise‑wide risks and develop preventive internal control systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of internal audit experience, preferably in multinational manufacturing or pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience in investigations and process audits.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
• Data analysis capabilities.
