Accounting Specialist

About the role

Usofi Tarım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a global agricultural leader, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its head office in Istanbul. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the company’s financial operations across a wide range of agricultural products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Manage cash and bank transactions, including related accounting processes.
• Handle e‑Invoice (e‑Fatura) processes and maintain proper documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Maintain accounting records in line with the Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Turkish accounting practices and tax legislation.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Residency in Istanbul.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP accounting modules.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
