Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join ORWOOD’s finance team in Istanbul, handling core accounting functions and ensuring compliance with Turkish regulations. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and local compliance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in Arabic, English, and Turkish.
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion with confidential information.
