Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our finance team at the Archroma Turkey office in Maltepe. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting processes within an international, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and control all financial and accounting transactions in compliance with legislation.
• Monitor e‑Invoice, e‑Ledger and e‑Archive processes.
• Prepare purchase and sales invoices and maintain accounting records.
• Reconcile with suppliers and group companies.
• Enter import/export documentation into the system.
• Ensure timely and accurate period‑end closings.
• Perform periodic depreciation, currency revaluation and reporting.
• Prepare statutory filings (VAT, withholding tax, stamp tax, provisional tax).
• Manage VAT refund processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience.
• Proficient use of SAP FI module.
• Good command of English is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting legislation and chart of accounts.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability and strong communication skills.
