Accounting Supervisor

About the role

Wyser is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a multinational client. The role involves overseeing daily accounting entries, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with various internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily accounting entries are recorded accurately and in compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Manage operational accounting processes in coordination with Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Logistics, and Sales teams.
• Monitor inventory accounting processes against purchase orders and guide the team.
• Oversee trial balance, customer/vendor accounts, perform reconciliations, and analyze discrepancies.
• Manage e‑invoicing, e‑archive invoicing, and e‑ledger processes.
• Prepare period‑end accruals, provisions, adjustments, and monitor monthly and year‑end closing.
• Coordinate notifications from tax authorities with business units and cooperate with the Tax Team.
• Represent the company in accounting matters with tax authorities and official institutions.
• Provide information and documentation for internal and independent audits.
• Prepare accounting data for financial reporting, budgeting, and tax returns.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes within SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with team management and period‑end closing.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA / SMMM) certification.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and team management skills.
