Accounting Team Leader

About the role

Reed Turkey is seeking an Accounting Team Leader for an international manufacturing client. The role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing cost accounting processes, and leading a team of accountants to ensure compliance with legal and group requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and implement monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring legal and group compliance.
• Lead accounting projects, drive automation‑optimisations and define process guidelines.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, internal and external reporting, and complex accounting topics for management.
• Oversee cost accounting business processes, calculate and track unit costs, and analyse variances between standard and actual costs.
• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the accounting department.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations and statutory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
