Air Freight Business Development Manager

About the role

DP World is seeking an experienced Air Freight Business Development Manager to expand its air freight portfolio. You will drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and strengthening market presence in a competitive logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in air freight while nurturing existing customer relationships.
• Achieve sales and revenue targets through proactive customer engagement and business development activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiate pricing, and design service solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Pricing teams to ensure reliable, competitive service delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, update the sales pipeline, forecast, and track opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights on customers, competitors, and industry developments.
• Represent DP World professionally in customer meetings and business development events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in air freight sales, business development, or a similar commercial role.
• Strong knowledge of air freight operations, market dynamics, and commercial practices.
• Proven experience in customer acquisition, account management, and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
