Application Advocate Analyst

About the role

World Business Lenders (WBL) is a privately held portfolio lender specializing in real estate-secured business loans for underserved businesses, with a fully remote, multinational workforce. The Application Advocate is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle and business success of an internally developed software application, acting as the main link between users, business leadership, technology teams and other stakeholders. The role covers the application's roadmap, requirements, delivery coordination, release readiness, adoption, ongoing performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own the application's purpose, roadmap, stakeholders, dependencies, risks and improvement opportunities
• Gather and document user needs, business rules, requirements and acceptance criteria, maintain the backlog and recommend priorities
• Coordinate developers, users, vendors and other contributors, track scope, milestones, dependencies and risks, and report progress
• Coordinate testing and business acceptance, confirm documentation, training, support, security and operational preparations, and track post-release issues
• Coordinate communications, training and user support, monitor usage and feedback, and address adoption or performance gaps
• Monitor performance, incidents, defects and support requests, recommend maintenance priorities, and keep documentation current
• Coordinate security, legal, compliance, audit and internal-control reviews, track risks and vulnerabilities, and regularly report application health and business value

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
• Available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, with a stable internet connection and professional remote working setup
• Resume submitted in English
