Area Commercial Manager

About the role

LC Waikiki, a fashion retail group with stores in around 60 countries, is looking for an Area Commercial Manager. You will lead the store commercial team in a region or country, making sure that customer needs and preferences are understood and passed on to HQ merchandising and product teams, and that sales, stock allocation and merchandise replenishment meet the agreed targets.

Key responsibilities

• Share comments and ideas with HQ Product Teams to improve collection development and product selection.
• Liaise with HQ Commercial and Product teams and coordinate store commercial teams across the region.
• Coordinate qualitative and quantitative research on customer expectations, needs, style and product demand.
• Understand customer personas and plan product allocation in time.
• Determine and control the ideal product mix of stores in the region with the HQ Merchandising team.
• Follow current trends per persona and rank future collections against store customer needs.
• Analyse sales rankings to promote the right merchandise and implement visual merchandising.
• Lead by example in customer service, mentor and train store commercials, and visit stores regularly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in fashion retail.
• BS / BA degree is a plus.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Strong passion for fashion and trends, and a proven commercial track record.
• Able to work in a matrix organisation and adapt to a multicultural environment.
