Associate Director, Sales - Consumer Health & MedTech

About the role

IQVIA, a global leader in advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services for the life sciences industry, is looking for an Associate Director, Sales to join its Turkish Sales team in Istanbul (hybrid). You will lead a commercial team supporting Consumer Health and MedTech clients, building executive-level relationships, developing strategic account plans and growing the client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand relationships with client organizations, especially top strategic accounts, and promote IQVIA products and services to meet revenue targets
• Create and execute strategic account plans and act as a trusted advisor on marketing, market research, sales management and industry trends
• Manage contract renewals, subscriptions and commercial performance metrics, and oversee financial processes such as rebates, invoicing, accounts receivable and DSO
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records of opportunities, activities and account plans, and work with Client Service teams to ensure high client satisfaction
• Keep the sales team optimally staffed, trained and deployed, leading it to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive sales management experience with a proven track record of success
• Extensive experience in the Consumer Health environment is essential
• Experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders in healthcare organizations
• Proven experience leading small teams
• Experience in a matrixed organization and confidence in contractual and procurement processes
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field
• Fluency in English and Turkish
