Assistant Director of Sales

About the role

Rixos, a Turkish resort group founded in 2000, is looking for an Assistant Director of Sales to support the Director of Sales in running the hotel's day-to-day sales operations across all market segments. The role drives revenue growth, develops profitable business opportunities, manages key Leisure accounts and ensures the Sales team meets its financial and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the Sales team across assigned market segments and act in the Director of Sales' absence.
• Lead the department's financial, administrative and operational activities and help prepare sales reports, annual business plans, revenue forecasts and expense budgets.
• Manage and develop top Leisure accounts, identify new business and turn existing accounts into long-term partnerships.
• Develop, implement and evaluate sales strategies to exceed Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue forecasts.
• Conduct sales calls, account reviews, market analysis and competitor assessments, and personally manage site inspections.
• Train, coach and motivate Sales team members and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and regional sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and stay ready to respond to emergencies; join task forces and support new hotel openings.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales or a related field preferred.
• Strong experience managing key accounts, developing new business and driving Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue.
• Russian language proficiency preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Understanding of hotel sales operations, Leisure business, account management, budgeting, forecasting and market analysis.
• Leadership, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
