Assistant Sales Manager - Hotel Sales

About the role

Ahama, a luxury hotel in the natural landscape of Gökçey, Turkey, is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to drive hotel sales across individual, corporate, leisure, group and event segments. The role covers generating new business, managing accounts and coordinating groups, weddings and events with the operational departments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive hotel sales across individual, corporate, leisure, group and event segments to achieve revenue targets.
• Generate new business and build relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients and event planners.
• Manage the sales process from enquiry through proposal, negotiation, contracting and confirmation.
• Make sales calls, hold client meetings and carry out site inspections.
• Work with the Sales and Revenue teams to prepare competitive offers and maximise revenue.
• Manage assigned accounts, monitor performance and encourage repeat bookings.
• Coordinate confirmed groups, weddings and events with operational departments.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, prepare sales reports and revenue forecasts, and support sales campaigns, packages and upselling initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
• At least 5 years of hotel sales experience, focused on groups, events, weddings or banqueting; luxury hotel or resort experience highly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Currently based in Fethiye or willing to relocate, and able to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proven ability to generate new business, convert enquiries and meet sales targets.
• Experience using Opera PMS (Delphi knowledge is an advantage).
• Negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
• Organised, commercially minded, proactive, detail-oriented and guest-focused.
