Assistant Hotel Manager

About the role

Maxx Royal Bodrum, a luxury resort offering personalized service and exacting quality standards, is looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager to oversee daily hotel operations in line with brand standards and organizational objectives. The role strengthens coordination across departments and ensures consistently high levels of guest satisfaction, with priorities of improving operational performance, optimizing resources, developing team capabilities and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations follow brand standards, quality objectives and corporate procedures.
• Coordinate communication and operations across departments.
• Analyse guest satisfaction results and feedback, and plan, implement and monitor improvements.
• Carry out regular inspections of service, presentation, cleanliness and property upkeep.
• Oversee VIP guest experiences and special requests.
• Contribute to budgeting, cost control and resource planning, and evaluate departmental KPIs to drive improvement.
• Support department heads and teams, and monitor hygiene, occupational health and safety and sustainability compliance.
• Report regularly to senior management on operational results, guest feedback and improvement plans.

Required profile

• University degree in Tourism and Hotel Management or a related field preferred.
• At least 8 years in luxury hospitality, including 3 years in a management role with comparable operational responsibilities.
• Thorough understanding of luxury resort operations and service expectations for an international clientele.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; another language is preferred.
• Currently residing in Bodrum or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Food and Beverage operations.
• Budget management, cost control, resource planning and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and MS Office.
• Experience in service standards, quality assessments and operational audits.
