Associate - Purchasing (Metal Process)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate – Purchasing (Metal Process) to join the Purchasing Directorate at Beko in Istanbul. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier relationships for metal‑process items, supporting various business units and driving cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business units to understand and fulfill their requirements for items and services.
• Develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create competitive supplier environments and build sustainable relationships.
• Plan, conduct and finalize commercial negotiations for project‑based purchases.
• Monitor technological developments and identify opportunities for cost innovation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and solve problems proactively.
• Team player with a self‑initiative mindset and openness to diverse perspectives.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
