Automation Testing Application Engineer

About the role

NISO Software Technologies Inc, a 100% Italian-owned software company based in the Izmir Gaziemir Aegean Free Zone, is hiring an Automation Testing Application Engineer for its Software Department. The company provides automotive software solutions for OEMs and smart factory applications, including digital transformation, IoT, software development, data science and AI. The engineer writes test software, manages the company's testing know-how and defines test sequences.

Key responsibilities

• Write automation software for test benches for automotive components.
• Write automation software that commands test instruments such as power, voltage and current meters and oscilloscopes.
• Write automation software for CAN vehicle and XCP communication with the device under test.
• Manage traceability via direct database write and log files.
• Analyse, supervise and develop the company's know-how, and carry out technical research through external companies, agencies and suppliers.
• Draft and update software testing procedures and manuals, and elaborate and run targeted hardware and software tests.
• Take part in setting up and implementing corrective actions and support process alignment and auditing across the plants.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another technical engineering field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good experience in LabVIEW programming for automatic test stations; the company looks for senior or experienced engineers.

Required skills

• Programming in NI LabVIEW and the LabVIEW ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit.
• NI Verstand, used on the MiniHIL test bench.
• CAN communication with the device under test (ECU measurement and calibration toolkit).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and basic statistical knowledge.
