AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect with IRS MBI Clearance

About the role

The partner company is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect with IRS MBI clearance to design and manage secure, scalable AWS environments across multiple accounts. Based in Turkey, you will shape cloud architecture covering governance, networking, identity, security, and compliance, including FedRAMP and GovCloud requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS Organizations structures, Organizational Units, and account governance policies.
• Deploy and manage AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone architectures for automated provisioning and compliance.
• Architect multi‑region VPCs, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and hybrid networking solutions.
• Define IAM policies, permission boundaries, federation, and Service Control Policies with least‑privilege models.
• Implement security services such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail, WAF, and Shield, and maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.
• Build infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Lead cost‑optimization initiatives, disaster‑recovery planning, and provide technical mentorship to engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience, including at least 3 years hands‑on with AWS.
• Proven experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Landing Zone, and GovCloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of FedRAMP requirements and security/compliance frameworks.
• IRS MBI clearance is mandatory.
• Professional AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional preferred; Security and Advanced Networking specialties a plus).
