Bakım Teknisyeni – Planned & Breakdown Maintenance Specialist

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will carry out planned and breakdown maintenance activities to reduce unplanned downtime and improve product quality. The role supports both the production line and the engineering team by ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance tasks (TPM/PM) and breakdown repairs according to work orders.
• Identify root causes of line problems and implement corrective actions.
• Verify spare‑part availability for annual preventive maintenance and coordinate with the spare‑part store.
• Maintain the readiness and condition of equipment stored in the spare‑part warehouse.
• Record all interventions in the CMMS system and close maintenance tickets.
• Ensure machines, tools, and production aids are clean and properly maintained.
• Follow BorgWarner maintenance procedures and occupational safety/environmental standards.
• Support RxM Analyzer and predictive maintenance (PdM) activities with technical interventions.
• Prepare for and act on audit findings from the EHV Maintenance Department.
• Align with KPI targets, develop action plans, and conduct root‑cause analyses for deviations.
• Perform electrical board and mechanical part repairs.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics.
• Familiarity with machine technology, servo‑motor controlled axes, sensors, and robot maintenance.
• Experience with pneumatic and electro‑pneumatic systems, AC‑DC electric motors.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electronic measurement techniques and tools.
• Understanding of material properties (plastic and metal) and ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with TPM, PMI, ATF 16949 quality systems and related corrective‑action processes.
• Solid process knowledge in an industrial production environment.
