Banquet Waiter – Luxury Hotel Service

About the role

Raffles Istanbul is seeking a passionate Banquet Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional service during high‑volume events such as banquets, conferences, weddings and special occasions. The role requires a strong commitment to luxury hospitality standards and the ability to work seamlessly with a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized, professional service to guests during banquets, conferences, weddings and special events.
• Set up tables, prepare event spaces and follow formal service protocols.
• Handle guest complaints professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
• Operate POS systems accurately for order entry and payment processing.
• Respond promptly to special guest requests and event‑specific requirements.
• Coordinate with the banquet team and other departments to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards throughout all operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in banquet service standards, table setup and formal service protocols.
• Experience operating POS systems with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Ability to present food and beverage offerings and support sales through appropriate recommendations.
