Business Development Executive

About the role

Our Business Development teams play a critical role in expanding Gartner’s presence across the global market. Business Development Executives strategically acquire new clients by cultivating trust‑based relationships with C‑level executives and driving the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Seek out and drive new business opportunities with new‑to‑Gartner organizations across your territory, targeting Large Enterprise C‑Level stakeholders.
• Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients, owning the full sales conversation, negotiation, and transition to account management.
• Continuously build a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities to meet sales metrics and quotas.
• Manage complex high‑revenue sales across matrixed business environments and own forecasting and account planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
• Experience selling to and influencing C‑level executives with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Ability to precisely manage and forecast complex sales processes.
• Willingness to travel as needed and a bachelor’s degree (desired).
