Business Development Intern (Remote)

About the role

IN-VR, a global energy investment platform founded in 2017 and based in London, is hiring a full-time Business Development Intern for its EMEA team. The internship lasts 9 months and is remote, with work done from home or your own office. You will support sales and business development by researching the market, identifying potential clients and helping prepare sales proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities
• Assist with developing sales proposals and presentations
• Book and attend client meetings and support the sales team
• Help with ad-hoc sales and business development projects
• Cold-call potential prospects
• Track sales data

Required profile

• Energetic, articulate, self-starting and motivated student or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Tourism, Journalism, or a recent graduate interested in Energy and/or Economics
• Comfortable making cold calls to high-level executives
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic; French is a plus
• Interest in Energy and/or Oil and Gas
• Ability to adapt to an international environment and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced setting
