Business Development Manager

About the role

DSV Türkiye is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its freight forwarding business in the Aegean region. You will own the sales process, build strong customer relationships, and work closely with operations and customer service to ensure high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer portfolio.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records in the CRM system.
• Represent DSV professionally in all customer interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in the logistics industry.
• Strong commercial mindset and proficiency with office software.
• Advanced level of English (minimum B2).
• Valid Class B driving licence with active driving experience.
• Based in İzmir and willing to travel within the Aegean region.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office.
• Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, basic formulas).
• CRM system usage.
