Category Buyer (OPEX) – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Category Buyer (OPEX) to join our global procurement team. In this position you will develop and manage purchasing processes that support the operational expenditure needs of the company, delivering financial benefits through strategic and operational sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for OPEX categories, sales & marketing, activities & services.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify needs and ensure timely, accurate purchases.
• Develop and execute alternative purchasing methods to optimise cost and efficiency.
• Maintain on‑time, in‑full, and on‑budget delivery through strong supplier relationships.
• Analyse supplier issues, propose solutions, and continuously improve the supplier portfolio via market analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics/Administrative Sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with OPEX‑related categories.
• Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and operational purchasing.
• Strong analytical, result‑oriented, and project‑management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to reside in Eskişehir, Turkey.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Proficiency with SAP.
