Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end domestic and international logistics operations for a manufacturing facility. The role involves coordinating the flow of raw materials, semi‑finished products and finished goods while collaborating closely with production planning, procurement, sales and other key departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all logistics activities, including warehouse, shipment, distribution and transportation.
• Plan and coordinate the movement of raw materials, semi‑finished products and finished goods.
• Monitor logistics and transportation costs, implementing cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with logistics service providers, carriers and suppliers.
• Track operational KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory accuracy, logistics costs and service levels.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to boost efficiency, quality and overall performance.
• Ensure effective use of ERP and other operational systems.
• Lead, develop and manage the logistics team, addressing operational risks proactively.
• Prepare and present regular logistics and performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of logistics experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of production logistics processes and proven experience in warehouse and transportation operations.
• Previous experience managing a logistics team.
• Excellent analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in cost management and process optimisation.
• Good command of English and strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
