Category Management Executive

About the role

Yemeksepeti, Turkey's largest online quick delivery platform and part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Category Management Executive. The role covers category strategy, supplier management, assortment building, pricing and profitability, and procurement, working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market data, internal data and customer needs for the assigned category
• Develop category strategy and manage category management processes
• Manage non-food categories and develop category strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs
• Select the most suitable suppliers and manage contracts, orders and supply end-to-end
• Manage procurement to achieve annual procurement goals
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Own assortment building, pricing and profitability of the category
• Plan and implement campaigns and promotions to increase sales
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Required profile

• University graduate from a relevant department
• At least 3 years of purchasing experience in retail, merchandising, FMCG or food
• Experience in non-food category management is a strong plus
• Experience sourcing products from suppliers at the expected quality level, on time and at reasonable prices
