Regional Supplier Development Manager – EMEA

About the role

Future Electronics is looking for a Supplier Development Manager to join its EMEA team in Istanbul. The role ensures the successful execution of the business plan for assigned focus suppliers and acts as the bridge between marketing, sales, engineering and the supplier, driving demand creation around the supplier's key technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Hold principal accountability for success with assigned focus suppliers and act as the main lead for them within Future.
• Create and drive the business plan, aligning it with sales, marketing, engineering and the supplier.
• Control and communicate NPI to Sales, Marketing, Engineering and management.
• Communicate supplier strengths, product offerings, roadmaps and strategies to target strategic customers.
• Work with technical and Marcom teams to run demand creation programmes, including launching and coordinating new products and providing demos and materials.
• Build supplier relationships that give Future a competitive advantage through supplier and matrix development.
• Develop tools to track and monitor performance and drive improvements and product push programmes.

Required profile

• Ideally degree level, with comprehensive knowledge of electronics and/or electronic distribution across a region or countries.
• Fully familiar with the sales and marketing practices of Future and EMEA distributors.
• Commercially astute, able to build long-term customer relationships.
• Able to think strategically and implement tactical plans, with a strong service ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
