Cloud Solutions Engineer – Global Support Hub

About the role

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer in Sailglobal’s newly opened Global Support Hub in Istanbul, you will be the final escalation point for complex hybrid‑cloud environments serving Fortune‑500 customers across EMEA. This role blends deep systems engineering with customer‑facing responsibilities, allowing you to influence product roadmaps while ensuring high‑availability and rapid incident recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead P0/P1 incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive system recovery for mission‑critical workloads.
• Conduct technical audits for key accounts, designing high‑availability and disaster‑recovery architectures.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify platform flaws and propose enhancements that shape the global product strategy.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and build internal tooling using Python, Go or Shell scripts.
• Maintain and tune Linux and Windows kernels, configure advanced networking (VPC, BGP, load balancing, SD‑WAN).
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and provision infrastructure via Terraform.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud computing, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure and the ability to communicate technical details to senior client stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English; Turkish is highly preferred.
• Relevant professional cloud certifications (AWS Professional, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, etc.) are a plus.
