Company Doctor (Occupational Health Physician)

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for a Company Doctor to provide primary care to its site in Gebze and to coordinate and manage the site health programme. The role aims to reduce work-related and non-work-related injuries through safety inspections, ergonomics training and assessments, and by managing testing programmes required by local legislation. The position is part of a regional business model managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary care to the site and manage the site health programme, including work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses
• Coordinate and run preventative health and wellness programmes to reduce work-related injuries
• Give initial emergency response, resuscitation and stabilisation of critically ill or injured trauma patients
• Support the development of health-related policies and standard operating procedures, including delivering training where needed
• Manage, maintain and administer medical equipment and consumables in line with legal and medical standards, including equipment audits, storage, dispensing, administration and safe disposal of medicines
• Assess plant risks for health issues or occupational illnesses and control them through preventive measures

Required profile

• Qualified doctor or nursing practitioner
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Claims and Injury Management, Workplace Ergonomics, Rehabilitation or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in OHS and strong experience in injury management and rehabilitation, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and injury management legislative requirements
• Occupational Health Physician certificate and experience as an Occupational Health Physician
