Content Operations Specialist – Turkey

About the role

A Content Operations Specialist is needed to run daily content operations, campaigns and in-app activations for PopUp in the Turkey market. The role works closely with Product, Marketing, Design and other teams to build a healthy, relevant trending-content ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily content operations, campaigns and in-app activations independently.
• Identify local trends, memes, cultural moments and emerging topics relevant to Turkey audiences and turn them into content opportunities.
• Develop localized content ideas and in-app activities that drive engagement, participation and retention.
• Monitor content performance and user behavior, analyze results and recommend improvements.
• Support the development of a trending-content ecosystem and share insights on local market developments, competitors and user feedback.
• Improve content-operation workflows, campaign processes and execution standards.
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Design and other teams, and support junior colleagues when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in content operations, social media, community operations, campaign management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of Turkey's social-media landscape, internet culture, memes and user behavior.
• Fluency in Turkish and English; Chinese is a plus.
• Preferred: experience with social, entertainment, community, live-streaming or UGC platforms, familiarity with content recommendation, distribution, engagement or growth strategies, and existing knowledge of or connections to Vietnam's creator, community or media ecosystem.
