Contract Manager

About the role

Técnicas Reunidas is seeking a Contract Manager for its Ceyhan PHD‑PP & Terminal Project, a greenfield petrochemical facility in Turkey. The professional will safeguard the company’s interests and ensure full compliance with all contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance of all parties with the prime contract terms and conditions.
• Advise and support the Project Director on contract interpretation, implementation and risk mitigation.
• Deliver contract awareness sessions and manage change notifications using corporate tools.
• Prevent, resolve or avoid claims and counter‑claims in coordination with Claims Management and Legal departments.
• Draft and review commercial correspondence, meeting minutes and monthly reports before client submission.
• Identify, communicate and monitor insurance and bonding requirements.
• Lead the Contracts Management team assigned to the project.
• Prepare and submit change‑management deliverables, such as Change Order Monthly Reports.
• Coordinate with estimate engineers, delay analysts and other disciplines to assess cost and schedule impacts of changes.
• Report critical contract issues to regional managers and ensure timely project reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management within large‑scale engineering or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of prime contract terms, change management procedures and claim handling.
• Ability to work closely with project directors, legal teams and external advisors.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting contract awareness sessions and preparing formal documentation.
