Corporate Associate (3-5 PQE) – Corporate, Banking & Capital Markets

About the role

A leading commercial law firm in Istanbul is seeking a Corporate Associate with 3‑5 years of post‑qualification experience. The role involves working on high‑quality corporate, banking, finance and capital markets matters for Turkish and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on domestic and cross‑border corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures and restructurings.
• Represent lenders and borrowers in banking and finance transactions.
• Handle capital markets transactions and related regulatory matters.
• Draft and review transaction documentation and ancillary agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare transaction‑related reports.
• Work directly with partners and senior lawyers on complex, high‑value matters.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ post‑qualification experience at a reputable law firm.
• Strong experience in corporate/M&A, banking & finance and/or capital markets.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and commercial abilities.
• Experience advising sophisticated domestic and/or international clients.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Turkish.
