Cost Controller Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Controller Supervisor to join the Finance team at Tersane Istanbul, a flagship hospitality destination. In this position you will lead daily cost‑control activities, ensure accurate inventory and purchasing records, and provide financial insights that enhance profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cost control operations across all hotel departments.
• Monitor inventory movements, stock counts, and cost of sales for accuracy and compliance.
• Review purchasing, receiving, and store procedures to maintain effective cost controls.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cost reports and analyse variances.
• Ensure accurate pricing and recipe costing for food and beverage operations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and support month‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Culinary and Operations teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of cost control experience in the hospitality industry, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, food and beverage costing and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and hotel management software.
