Customer Service Representative (Turkey)

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will act as the main liaison between European customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately and inquiries are handled promptly. This role combines order‑management expertise with proactive sales support and continuous improvement of service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for daily customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate support across order management and supply chain execution.
• Lead onboarding of new customers by coordinating collection of operational, ordering, financial, and master data requirements.
• Provide proactive sales support by taking ownership of customer‑related activities and ensuring timely execution.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end customer requirements with internal stakeholders, including order changes, credit blocks, and supply chain execution.
• Manage customer complaints and claims professionally, ensuring clear communication and effective internal coordination.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and supply chain processes and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree preferred with 5+ years of order management experience in wholesale, distribution or e‑commerce, preferably in chemicals or food.
• Strong customer‑centric mindset and ability to exceed expectations.
• Understanding of Incoterms, global ocean logistics and EMEA distribution is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Turkish and English.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle.
• Experience using Tier 1 software platforms.
