Customer Service Representative - Turkey

About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) acts as the primary liaison between European customers and Wego Chemical Group’s internal teams. Based in Istanbul, the CSR ensures accurate order processing, timely responses to inquiries, and smooth onboarding of new clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for daily customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate support across order management and supply chain execution.
• Lead the onboarding of new customers by coordinating the collection of operational, ordering, financial, and master data requirements.
• Provide proactive sales support by taking ownership of customer‑related activities, following up on outstanding actions, and ensuring timely execution.
• Manage end‑to‑end coordination of customer requirements with internal stakeholders, including order changes, credit blocks, and supply chain execution.
• Handle customer complaints and claims promptly, maintaining clear communication and effective internal coordination.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer service and supply chain processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in order management within wholesale, distribution, or e‑commerce, preferably in the chemical or food industry.
• Strong customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to exceed expectations.
• Understanding of Incoterms, global logistics (ocean) and EMEA distribution.
• Excellent communication skills in both Turkish and English.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Tier 1 software applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle (a plus).
