Customer & Trade Marketing Executive

About the role

Safilo Türkiye is looking for a Customer & Trade Marketing Executive to support business growth through effective trade marketing strategies. The role reports to the Business Development & Marketing Manager and focuses on developing and implementing trade marketing plans, aligning brand priorities with commercial objectives and driving customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to boost market share and brand growth, and implement brand activations aligned with global and local market needs.
• Design and run customer-specific marketing programs and build strong relationships with retail partners, providing marketing support and training.
• Plan and coordinate trade shows, roadshows and product launches, and manage in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns and special offers.
• Oversee POS materials, merchandising and promotional asset distribution.
• Analyze competitor activity and market trends, track and report on trade marketing effectiveness, and manage budgets and vendor coordination for brand activations.
• Work with the sales team to provide promotional tools and training, collaborate with internal teams, and analyze customer data to improve campaign performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in trade/customer marketing (optical, fashion, retail or FMCG preferred).
• Strong knowledge of trade marketing, consumer behavior and retail strategies.
• Experience in promotional campaigns, sales tools and POS materials.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel for trade events and retailer meetings.
