About the role
The Customs Planner is part of Maersk's Customer Experience team, providing services to customers after onboarding. The role focuses on supporting customs processes, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth contract and dispute handling.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer channels and support customs processes in coordination with customers.
- Handle customer onboarding, relationship management, and contract administration.
- Oversee dispute management and provide ongoing customer support.
- Apply technical and disciplinary knowledge to solve problems within defined guidelines.
- Mentor less experienced staff and may supervise lower‑level professionals.
Required profile
- Previous work experience in a related area or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
- Ability to work independently within defined boundaries while seeking supervision for complex tasks.
- Strong knowledge of practical methods, techniques, work procedures, and processes.
- Capability to evaluate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives within the area of expertise.
