LCL Product & Cargo Risk Management Business Development Manager

About the role

Maersk is looking for an LCL Product & Cargo Risk Management Business Development Manager to join its Area LCL & CRM team. The role acts as the key point of contact for pricing strategy, digital growth, market intelligence and customer performance management, combining solid LCL expertise with a commercial mindset and strong analytical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pricing strategy, digital growth, market intelligence and customer performance management.
• Strengthen pricing capabilities across spot, digital channels and short- and long-term contracts and tenders, keeping prices competitive and aligned with market developments.
• Simplify and standardise LCL pricing structures and price components to support greater automation and digitalisation.

Required profile

• Around 7 years of proven experience in LCL business, preferably within the logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of LCL tenders and the broader supply chain business.
• Solid understanding of pricing, commercial performance and market dynamics.
• Data-driven and analytical mindset, able to turn insights into commercial actions.
• Strong customer focus, stakeholder management and collaboration skills across Product, Sales and other functions.
• Ability to influence and communicate in a matrix organisation, in a fast-moving, commercially demanding environment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs and proficiency in English.
