About the role

Equinix is seeking a Data Center Critical Facilities III to perform semi‑routine maintenance and support tasks on non‑critical facility components. The role works under supervision, following standard operating procedures and supporting senior staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and semi‑routine repairs on plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems.
  • Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and respond to alarms according to SOPs.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure maintenance activities meet Equinix requirements and support work order approvals.
  • Maintain site logs, permits, and assist with on‑site incident response.
  • Complete semi‑routine work requests, circuit installations, and support auxiliary equipment.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience performing semi‑routine facility maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work under supervision.
