Data Center Fabric Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced network architect to design and standardize Nokia's Data Center Fabric solutions. You will create reusable, standard architectures and work closely with global teams, customers, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, standardize, and continuously improve Data Center Fabric solution architectures.
• Produce and maintain High‑Level Design (HLD), Low‑Level Design (LLD), test plans, templates, and reusable delivery assets.
• Industrialize engineering practices by creating automation‑friendly methods and standardized implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with product line management, pre‑sales, delivery, and engineering to align solutions with standardized architecture.
• Advise customers and partners on Nokia architecture principles to ensure scalability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IP routing and networking, including BGP and EVPN/VXLAN.
• Proven experience developing and implementing complex network architectures and delivering consulting services.
• Ability to translate field requirements into standardized, scalable solution frameworks.

Required skills

• IP routing, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, Data Center Fabric architecture.
• Design and documentation of HLD/LLD, test plan execution.
• Network automation, NetOps/DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Use of AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Hands‑on experience with Nokia SR Linux and Event‑Driven Automation (nice‑to‑have).
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms (nice‑to‑have).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, AWS or GCP (nice‑to‑have).
