Devices Software Engineer (Remote, Turkey)

About the role

JumpCloud is looking for a Devices Software Engineer to help build and maintain the core platform that manages devices, identities and access for modern workforces. The role is fully remote within Turkey and involves working on distributed systems that power device enrollment, management and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain micro‑services using Golang (and optionally Node.js/Java) and expose them via RESTful or gRPC APIs.
• Deploy and operate scalable applications in containerised environments using Kubernetes, Docker and AWS cloud services.
• Build native OS components or scripts that interact with frameworks such as Swift, Objective‑C or C++ for deep device integration.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to ensure safe and repeatable releases.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to create reusable Vue.js components that integrate with backend services.
• Support device enrollment protocols (Apple MDM/DDM/ADE, Android Enterprise, Windows MDM) and contribute to device‑management knowledge.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional production software experience, with strong expertise in Go.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and container orchestration.
• Ability to work remotely, participate in on‑call rotations and communicate effectively across geographically dispersed teams.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive attitude toward ambiguity and incremental delivery.
