DevOps Engineer

About the role

Apilex is an AI-native legal operating system that brings together legal research, drafting of pleadings and contracts, document analysis and case preparation. It operates in France, Turkey and Germany and aims to expand to Brazil, Spain and Italy. The company is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain and improve its infrastructure and deployment processes, working closely with software engineering teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, security and efficiency of its systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
• Manage and optimise infrastructure for reliability, performance and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational tasks.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues and troubleshoot incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development workflows and deployment practices.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Support infrastructure security, access management, backup and disaster recovery.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes and best practices.

• Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS; Cloud Run, Cloud Functions (Gen2), Compute Engine, GKE Autopilot; Terraform, GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build, AWS CodeBuild.
• Docker, Docker Compose, Artifact Registry; event-driven architecture (AWS EventBridge).
• Databases and messaging: MongoDB Atlas, Redis Cluster, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Qdrant, Zilliz, GCS.
• Networking and security: load balancing, Cloud Armor, Cloud DNS, VPC, IAP, OpenVPN.
• Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Google Cloud Monitoring & Logging, synthetic monitoring (TypeScript), custom dashboards (Python).
