Director, Hard Home Sourcing – Europe

About the role

Quince is looking for a Director of Hard Home Sourcing for Europe to build and lead a new sourcing ecosystem for furniture and related home goods. This senior, hands‑on position will shape the European supply base from the ground up, driving early production and revenue impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch Quince’s European hard‑home sourcing network, starting with furniture and expanding to kitchen, tabletop and decorative accessories.
• Leverage an existing network of manufacturers, agents and intermediaries to identify, negotiate with and onboard new suppliers.
• Lead supplier discovery, contract negotiation, onboarding, and early‑stage production execution.
• Collaborate closely with the VP of Global Home Sourcing and cross‑functional teams to align sourcing strategy with product and business goals.
• Establish processes, metrics and governance to ensure quality, sustainability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in hard‑home (furniture) sourcing or procurement within Europe.
• Extensive, active network (“black book”) of European manufacturers, agents and intermediaries.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and contract execution skills.
• Ability to operate as a heavy‑player coach, guiding teams while executing personally.
• Track record of delivering revenue‑generating sourcing initiatives.
